How to set up Codebob
Codebob is designed for one operator selling digital products. Start with one small test file and verify access after checkout before uploading your catalogue.
Set up and test the first workflow
Prepare the host and database
The author’s guide lists PHP 8.2 and MySQL 5.7 or newer. Check required PHP extensions and set upload limits based on your actual file sizes. Create a dedicated database and user.
Run the browser installer
Extract the purchased Script.zip as directed by the author and open the site. Complete the requirements, purchase verification and database import, then set your store and administrator details. If the automatic import fails, review the logs and follow the documented manual import path on an empty database.
Test the purchase and download
Add a test product, set up SMTP, and configure your supported payment gateway and webhook in test mode. Check the scheduled task in the system settings. Buy the test item using a sandbox checkout, confirm the receipt and download, and verify a signed-out visitor cannot access the file directly.
Brand it for your business

Troubleshooting and buying questions
Can one item deliver multiple separate files?
The author said multiple files per product were unavailable in the version discussed. Verify your current release. If it accepts a single upload, test a bundled archive with a realistic file size before launch.
Can I remove the billing address field in the admin panel?
The author said the field could be removed, but a buyer could not find a setting and the thread did not give a procedure. Confirm whether your release needs a code change and whether the payment provider needs the address.
